Ruth/Mom/Grandma has lingering regrets that she was unable to pursue her passion for art. When we talk about it she wonders where her art would have taken her. I tell her that she has made beautiful art for all these years and in the process raised a wonderful family and shared the love of a great man. Not only that but she has passed on her love of and talent for art to her daughter and granddaughter. Thank you Susan for sharing these sketches and I look for more to come. Dad

Some of your pictures made me laugh out loud (“Trying to fit in,” “Enjoying the shade”, and “Spying on the neighbors”) and I’m glad you included that very first picture of what you had hoped this would all look like. (It was hard to visualize over the phone.) Wouldn’t Grandma and Grandpa be tickled to see how far their chairs have traveled!
